EDITOR’S NOTE

Dear Reader, thank you for stopping by!

In 2018, I had a vision to start a community of South Asian women writers, where we could write, share and learn together. This vision was realized with the support of the Ontario Arts Council, and over the pandemic, the vision grew to include South Asian women writers from across Ontario. Over the course of the past year, we gathered to hear inspiring words from South Asian women authors & guest speakers, from Anita Majumdar to Farzana Doctor. We mapped our own creative visions, and worked on writing projects while embracing process over product. This journal aims to capture our reflections, thoughts and stories as we journeyed together over the past year.
